The modern city traces back to the Kaiser Steel mill, which opened during World War II and shaped the local economy for decades. Kaiser Permanente opened one of its early hospitals here for steelworkers, and its Fontana Medical Center remains a major employer. Today the I-10, I-15 and SR-210 make the area a center for trucking companies, freight yards and distribution warehouses.
The former Auto Club Speedway site on the city's south edge is being redeveloped into a large logistics campus. Sierra Lakes, near the 210, holds retail and medical offices, while the older core along Sierra Avenue has small businesses and civic buildings. Contractors, equipment rental firms, truck repair shops and parts suppliers are common across the industrial zones.
Trucking and yard operations depend on dispatch software, ELD and telematics platforms and drivers' phones, mostly cloud-based but tied to a small office. Those offices are often run by a few people who handle billing, payroll and broker emails, which makes them prime targets for payment fraud. Yards also need Wi-Fi and cameras across open lots, which is harder to cover than a typical office.
From Burbank it is usually a drive east on the 210 or the 10, typically about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic and truck volume. Remote support handles most help desk issues, account problems and monitoring. When a yard network, camera link or office setup needs hands on, we schedule an on-site visit, subject to scope and technician availability, and confirm travel time when booking.

Adopt a simple rule: any payment change is confirmed by phone using a number you already have, never the one in the email. On the technical side, we add advanced email filtering, multi-factor sign-in and alerts for suspicious mailbox rules. Short staff training covers the warning signs.
Often, yes. Point-to-point wireless links can carry a network signal hundreds of feet or more without trenching. We use weather-rated gear built for summer heat and dust, and we plan power carefully. A site visit comes first so we can check line of sight and mounting points.
Work stops unless you have a backup. We recommend a second internet line from a different carrier, or a cellular backup with automatic failover. Laptops and phones can tether to mobile hotspots as a last resort. We test the failover so it works when you actually need it.
Yes. Contractors and repair shops typically need dependable laptops and tablets in the field, Microsoft 365, estimating or shop software and secure file sharing with customers. We set those up, protect them with backups and multi-factor sign-in, and help when a device fails on a job site.
Stop using the device and call us. We diagnose first and quote before any recovery work. Equipment can be dropped off in Burbank or shipped to us, and we can advise on packing it safely.
